- We accept all major Credit Card and Debit cards
- We accept payment through PayPal
- All transactions are carried out in GBP Sterling
- No orders will be dispatched during weekends or public holidays
- It is the responsibility of you, the buyer to ensure your address details are correct at the time of placing your order. We cannot be responsible for any items which are delivered to the wrong address as a result of you putting an incorrect address in. Please contact us if you have put in an incorrect address down and we can update your details and will always do our best to locate your order.
Orders within the United Kingdom;
- We offer free standard delivery on all orders (for flies only) within the UK over £30.00
- All fly orders are posted using Royal Mail’s Tracked 24 service unless otherwise requested and usually arrive the next 1 – 2 working days after dispatch (this is not guaranteed)
- Box Stickers are send via Royal Mail 24 (non tracked)
- If you do require a guaranteed next day delivery service, we recommend using Royal Mail Special Delivery
- Larger orders are sent using Royal Mail, DHL or UPS and usually arrive within 1-2 working days (Longer for international orders)
- If you require your order urgently, please contact us at the time of placing your order.
International Orders;
- All international orders are send via international tracked and signed
- We offer free standard delivery on all international orders (for large letter items only) over £100.00
- Larger items are send via UPS or DHL
- Customers residing outside the United Kingdom may be subject to additional fees. You as the buyer are responsible for paying any additional costs such as duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees. Fees are most commonly based on the price and type of item, package weight and dimensions, origin country, and the taxes, duties, and fees of the destination country but we recommend checking with your local government regarding any charges you may incur before placing your order as we cannot be responsible for these.
Tying Materials & Hooks
Whilst we do our upmost to ensure the flies you receive are as pictured on our website from time to time products may vary slightly from that pictured. Most fly tying materials are hand dyed and therefore colours do vary slightly between batches of products and we are sometimes not able to source original materials used and instead have to opt for a close match, this is just the world of fly tying. Quality is what is most important to us and we only use the best materials available.
We tie most of our barbed flies on Kamasan Hooks and barbless on Fasna as we having fished for many years and trying all that is on offer, these are in our opinion the very best. All materials used to tie our flies are sourced in the UK and Ireland.
Gift Vouchers
- Our Gift Vouchers are sent virtually to the email address of the buyer unless otherwise requested prior to purchase. These will be received within 24 hours of purchase (weekdays only) If you require your voucher urgently please call us and we will try to assist.
- Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of purchase and can only be used once.
- If you require to split your gift voucher over more than one purchase please contact us prior to ordering and if agreed we will send you a new voucher code with the remaining balance on.
- Gift Vouchers do not cover the cost of postage.
- Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash or replaced after expiration.
- Gift vouchers may be exchanged for goods or services of a higher value, on payment of the difference.
- All vouchers are subject to verification at the time of use.
Competitions and Giveaways
From time to time we may advertise a competition or giveaway via our Social Media platforms. These platforms can be found in the right had corner at the top of our home page by clicking the icons.
- Our competitions are open to UK residents only
- There is no entry fee or purchase necessary with any of our competitions
- We reserve the right to cancel or amend a competition or giveaway at any time
- Winners are chosen at random via a name generator
- Only those who have completed all requests will have a valid entry
- The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal details relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party.
- We will never ask entrants to follow a link to enter nor will we request any bank details or other payment information.
- The end date of the competition will be clearly stated on the original competition post. We will not contact any entrants directly before the date stated.
- Only entrants who comment on the original post will be accepted.
- Please be aware of any scammers who may be impersonating us.
- These terms maybe updates at the time of running a competition if there any any specific terms relating to the competition.

What is PayPal Pay Later?

Returns & refunds
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase The Fly Shop offer a 7-day money back guarantee providing the items you ordered are unused and in their original packaging.
Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order to inform us that you will be returning your goods via our Returns Form.
The Fly Shop do not cover the cost of the returns postage. We recommend you send your returns parcel insured as we do not hold any responsibility for any returns that are lost in transit.
Once we have received your returned parcel and it has been processed we will issue a refund. This process usually takes up to 7 days. If you have not received your refund after 7 days please contact us.
The original postage cost of your order will not be refunded.
In the unlikely event that your item is faulty on delivery please contact us immediately and we will be happy to offer an exchange.
Please note; Returns and refunds are not applicable on our Custom printed Box Stickers.
