It's not as common as the shipmans buzzer or bobs bits but has been a very successful fly over the last few seasons especially when trout are proving tricky. Great for targeting fish feeding on adult or emerging chironomids (Buzzers) that have become trapped in the surface film. Best fished static on a floating line as a single or team of flies. Extremely successful for all kinds of trout on small and large still Waters.Particular successful at the following Waters; Draycote Water, Rutland Water, Grafham Water and Llyn Brenig.
