About Alec Bowler
I started fishing aged 7 catching perch in a local small pond and a quarry.
I’ve always shared a love for the outdoors, being mad keen on any sort of Hunting and fishing.
I started fly fishing on local hill lochs for wild browns then later joined a local Angling club in Ayr.
I loved the buzz and challenge of small fisheries and that’s now my passion.
I’ve represented Scotland as angler and a manager, earning cap number seven this year.
Also, I’m honoured to have been asked to be Captain of this year’s team.
Experimenting at the vice is my passion thru the winter and will gladly be helping and sharing patterns and techniques to improve your catch rate on small stillwaters .
